Service description

Moments Locaux lets you discover local events and moments, meet up with people you follow, suggest an event you spotted (including from a poster), talk to Lumia, and report content. It is not a ticketing service. Organiser event creation, check-in and Moments Diffuseur / Partenaire are not open in Alpha.

Free version and advertising cards

Discovery in the app is free. This free version may show advertising cards served by Google, separate from outings. If you accept, they may be personalised, and your location may be used to choose them only if you accept that point. You can refuse: no card is then shown. The choice can be reviewed in Settings, under Advertising. An active Habitué or Éclaireur subscription removes the cards. That subscription is not for sale in the app until the offer opens.

Where events come from

So the map can already be alive from day one, Moments Locaux may reference events published elsewhere: open agendas, public websites, municipalities, tourist offices, associations and other sources whose reuse is permitted. We do not claim ownership of that content. When possible, the origin is shown, with a link to the source.

This referencing is a starting point, not the destination. The aim is that every event has an identified organiser who owns the listing, keeps it up to date and remains responsible for it.

You can suggest an event spotted nearby — from a poster photo, with assisted entry, or manually — subject to verification. Suggesting an event does not make that user the organiser. Moments Locaux may correct, hide or remove content, including after a report, at the request of a rights holder, or if a source is no longer reusable. For any request: hello@moments-locaux.com

User account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. One account per person. Information provided must be accurate. The service is intended for people aged 16 or over.

Published content

You retain rights to content you publish (comments, shared photos, etc.). By publishing, you grant us a license to display and distribute that content within the service. Illegal, offensive or misleading content is prohibited.

Moderation

We reserve the right to refuse, modify or remove any content that is reported or violates these terms. User contributions are reviewed when needed.

Conduct

Harassing other users, publishing illegal content, attempting unauthorized access or using the service for unauthorized commercial purposes is prohibited.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account in case of violation of these terms.

Limitation of liability

Moments Locaux is not responsible for events organized by third parties, information from external sources, their content or interactions between users on site. Each organiser remains responsible for their event. Users are invited to check essential information with the official source before going.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts in France.
