The rules
Quality matters as much as quantity
The threshold is intentionally simple. Each suggestion must still be reliable enough to genuinely help people using the map.
Three distinct events
Three verified suggestions for three different events. Duplicates and corrections to an existing listing do not increase the count.
Useful information
The name, date, time and venue must make it clear where and when the event takes place.
A verifiable source
A readable poster, official page or public link must let the team confirm the information.
During the founding period
All three verifications must happen before the founding period closes. The date will be announced in advance on the website and in the app.
No race for volume
A good-faith but incomplete suggestion does not count against you: it simply counts only once verified. Intentional duplicates, spam and invented information do not count.
What the badge recognises
- Your concrete help in making the map useful from day one
- Visible, lasting recognition on your profile
- Your place among the first people to enrich Moments Locaux
What it does not mean
- You do not become the organiser of the events you suggest
- The badge creates no ranking, moderator status or financial benefit
- Every suggestion is still reviewed separately before publication
Frequently asked questions
What happens if a suggestion is declined?
It does not count towards the three verifications, but a good-faith mistake does not count against you. You can add or correct information where possible.
What if the event is already on the map?
The suggestion is treated as a duplicate and does not count. You can instead report information that needs correcting on the existing listing.
When does the founding period end?
The closing date will be announced in advance on the website and in the app. Verifications earned before that date remain yours.
Can the badge be removed?
It is intended to remain on your profile. It would only be removed in the event of fraud, repeated spam or clear abuse.
