Confirm that you're there in one gesture, without turning your outing into permanent tracking.
During the event, tap “Confirm my presence”. The app then performs a one-time location check. If the event has been claimed by its organiser, it also asks you to scan the official QR code displayed on site. If it has not been claimed yet, location is enough, with a lower Lumo reward.

How it works

Open the listing during the event and tap “Confirm my presence”. The one-time location check starts at that exact moment.

For an event claimed by its organiser, also scan the official QR code displayed on site. Location and QR code validate your presence together.

For an unclaimed event, location is enough. The presence joins your private history and earns less Lumo because it confirms proximity without proving that you entered the venue.

A one-time check, not tracking
Location is only checked when you tap “Confirm my presence” and is not used to track your journey. The QR code becomes mandatory when an organiser has claimed the event. Without a claim, location is enough but earns less Lumo. Visibility remains private by default.
